Team building at the former site of the 129th Division Headquarters of Shexian County, Handan Zitai Fastener Manufacturing Co., Ltd.: quenching into steel, fastening the red gene

On the red hot land on the eastern foot of Taihang Mountain, Handan Zitai Fastener Manufacturing Co., Ltd. took "quenching into steel" as the theme and entered the former site of the 129th Division Headquarters of the Eighth Route Army in the midsummer of 2025 to start an immersive red team building journey. This activity deeply integrates the "Wujiapo" spirit of the former site with the corporate development concept. Through the restoration of historical scenes and militarization expansion, the Taihang gene of "obeying orders and coordinated operations" is injected into the team's blood.
1. Red melting pot: touching the temperature of history
On the bluestone road of Chi'an Village, the team entered the former site of the headquarters consisting of three courtyards. In the headquarters meeting room in the lower house, the mottled tables and chairs and old-fashioned telephones quietly tell the legend of "nine thousand soldiers entered Shexian County and 300,000 troops left Taihang". Employees stroked the lilac trees planted by Liu Bocheng and Deng Xiaoping, feeling the two leaders' determination to "take root in Taihang". In the war room of the upper house, in the "Xiangtangpu ambush" scene restored by digital twin technology, the R&D team became "field staff" and comprehended the tactical wisdom of "accurate decision-making and efficient execution" in the sand table simulation. When touching the Taihang woodcut prints preserved in the office of the war department, the design team was inspired to propose the idea of incorporating the "military and civilian unity" element into the packaging of new products.
2. Battlefield Tempering: Forging the Soul of Collaboration
At the site of Zhangnan Daqu, the team retraced the road that the military and civilians used to repair the canal. The production department and the logistics department formed an "attack company" to simulate scenes such as "cliff drilling" and "aqueduct construction" and completed the "material transportation" task by carrying and lifting on shoulders. When the last bucket of "Zhanghe River Water" was injected into the simulated farmland, all members recited the "Zhangnan Canal Completion Oath" in unison, transforming the spirit of "not fearing sacrifice and uniting to control water" into the driving force of teamwork. In the "Be an Eighth Route Army for a Day" experience area of the Red Memory Town, the sales team and the administrative team carried out the "Pushing a Wheelbarrow to Deliver Military Food" race. On the 129-meter track, new and old employees supported each other and interpreted the corporate value of "tightening cooperation" with the belief of "no one can be left behind".
3. Spiritual sublimation: Inheriting the will of Taihang
On Jiangjun Ridge, the team climbed up the 129 steps and presented a flower basket in front of the Marshal Liu Bocheng Memorial Pavilion. All party members reviewed the oath of joining the party in front of the party flag. The oath resonated with the mountain breeze, and the spirit of the 129th Division of "bravely shouldering heavy responsibilities and daring to win" was engraved in their hearts. At the closing ceremony, each group reviewed the "smart factory sandbox" and gained something: the production team extracted the inspiration of "precise collaboration and efficient execution" for assembly line management, and the R&D team proposed a product optimization plan of "breaking departmental walls and stimulating innovation". The company's management announced the establishment of the "Taihang Star" Innovation Fund, and included the 12 golden ideas emerging from the team building into the annual technical transformation plan. On the banks of the Qingzhang River in the twilight, all employees held fluorescent light signs that read "Fix the Future" and shouted out the corporate declaration of "Ingenuity Fastens the World, Unity Creates Glory" against the backdrop of the Chishui Bay water curtain light show.
During the team building at the former site of the 129th Division Headquarters, the Zitai team tempered their will in the historical scene and gathered strength in the collaborative challenges. Just like the lilac trees that have experienced wind and rain in the old site, the Zitai people used Shexian as a melting pot to forge the team into a "strong and resilient" steel division. In the future, this team will set out again with the Taihang spirit of "obeying orders and coordinating operations" and continue to write a new chapter of unity and progress on the "battlefield" of the fastener industry.
